Artist's Comments
This is a new version of my most popular image on this site, which is here:
[link] I think this new version is FAR superior. By comparison, I find the old version to be flat and fake-looking, with very little tonal variation. The colour balance is all wrong too, way too warm. We don't orbit a red giant! What do you think? I will almost certainly end up replacing the old one with this one. Comments
Thanks very much for letting me know! I thought it was much better, but who knows what anyone else will think?

-- * * * */\ * * * * * /. !\* * * /\*/ .!. !\* Marc I love this image! The only thing that kind of bugs me is that little person off in the distance. It seems so secluded and serene, and then then s/he is. Grrr. But, that's just me. I really do like the colors and the balance between the two areas of brown (tree / path).

Critiques
Besides the colour differences, in both cases the composition, clarity and sense of being lead on through the scene (accentuated by the receding figure at the end of the visible path), are visually stimulating and very aesthetically pleasing with the lighting falling in just the right places.
Very well done! (I can't think of anything to suggest that could contribute towards improvement.)
