EDIT 15.05.09:
Just figured out how to make the highlights around the sunset look much more natural and like film would look. In the old version I made the mistake of trying to retain all the detail around the bright parts of a sunset, without anything blowing out. It just ended up looking fake! ------------------------------------------- This photo was taken at Roath Park lake at sunset. I used a 9-stop filter to get a really long exposure. I took this a few weeks ago, but I only just figured out how I should process it. In case you're wondering, I haven't added any colours that weren't there, I'm just working with the colours in the original exposure. Comments
Gorgeous scene and colours.
-- Anna Anna Kirsten Photography Co-founder #Photo-by-Nature My Art Account =AnnaKirsten I'm impressed with the 'golden' quality of the color in this. Additionally, an interesting choice of cropping. I usually don't associate square formats with landscapes (or skyscapes, as in this case), but it works well here. I also really enjoy the details in the clouds, especially the contrails. I've never seen them as aesthetically pleasing before. Well done.
